Everybody’s talking about this teriffic speech by Marcy Kaptur D- Ohio 9th District.
But with all due deference to the gentlewoman (and I love every molocule of her being) what’s going on here was best described way back in 1985 by the great Albert Brooks.

That kills me too. The moment this whole “Save the Economy by Giving the People Who Wrecked it $700 Billion ” thing started I thought of Albert.
