is one of life’s greatest joys.
Especially when the stiff in question
Right wing web provacateur Andrew Breitbart is dead. His own sites, Big Journalism and Big Government and Big Hollywood, are all carrying a statement from Breitbart.com president Larry Solov saying that “Andrew passed away unexpectedly from natural causes shortly after midnight this morning in Los Angeles.”
And now he’s got a new one: Big Corpse
In the immortal words of
“I’ve never wished a man dead, but I have read some obituaries with great pleasure”
And so the fascist bathos begins —
Boo Fucking Hoo Jonah !
Yes he leaves a wife and four daughters. And had he laid off the booze and the drugs he might still be around for them. But that was his choice, wasn’t it?
Most of us I trust recall him most recently for this
With his mouth gaping open in fury
Breitbart reminded me most often of one of Bacon’s screaming Popes.
But there was another even more pointed cultural parallel.
While Keith made sidelong references to Dr. Emilio Lizardo he never got around to using him in a Bretibart mash-up video.
But of course Keith has always had far more serious fish to fry.
Breitbart’s most famous jihaad was levelled at Shirley Sherrod
Here he is telling lies about it on ABC News — with George Stephanopolis not so much as daring to attempt to correct him.
The videos he speaks of were of course fabrifcations. And I have no doubt what he claims in this CPAC 2012 video augers more of the same.
The fascist blogs are alight with claims that President Obama had Breitbart murdered because of these videos.
In their dreams.
