The NYT Headline sez it all !
It’s a simple story, really.
WASHINGTON — President Trump used his first official meeting with congressional leaders on Monday to falsely claim that millions of unauthorized immigrants had robbed him of a popular vote majority, a return to his obsession with the election’s results even as he seeks support for his legislative agenda.
The claim, which he has made before on Twitter, has been judged untrue by numerous fact-checkers. The new president’s willingness to bring it up at a White House reception in the State Dining Room is an indication that he continues to dwell on the implications of his popular vote loss even after assuming power.
What’s uniquely refreshing about it is the Times calling a lie a lie. No “ifs,” “ands” or “buts” to it. IT’S A LIE.
Mr. Trump appears to remain concerned that the public will view his victory — and his entire presidency — as illegitimate if he does not repeatedly challenge the idea that Americans were deeply divided about sending him to the White House to succeed President Barack Obama.
And to assuage that concern, Drumpf turns for help to Fascist Barbie
(CNN)Donald Trump’s White House counselor Kellyanne Conway coined a new term Sunday morning when she stated that White House Press secretary Sean Spicer was not lying about the size of the crowd at Trump’s inauguration. Instead, Conway claimed, Spicer simply told us “alternative facts.”
It’s truly hilarious that the Trump team, so vocally opposed to political correctness, is now being PC in describing a lie. Sorry, Kellyanne, I’m not buying it. “Alternative facts,” as NBC’s Chuck Todd so accurately put it in response to you on the air, “are not facts, they’re falsehoods!”
Take it away Fats!
LIARS CLUB UPDATE: Roughly five minutes ago at a White House press briefing spokesdoormat Sean Spicerack when asked about the “Illegal Aliens Voted for Hillary” LIE, said Drumpf “believed” it on the basis of “studies” he’s seen. When asked for these “studies” Spicerack declined to provide them and went on to the next question.
